I completely enjoyed your workshop in Huntington yesterday. (I was the one who asked you about pedal steel instruction.) Your method of teaching is perfect for me. It opens up avenues for thinking about learning the neck more completely, counterpoint, voice leadings, and improving style and technique. I wish I did this 20 years ago. I’m enjoying the challenges of your Blind Blake tuitional DVD. Of the first two tunes I’m working on I find ‘That’ll Never Happen No More’ fairly straightforward, but there are some tricky bits in ‘Black Dog Blues’ that are taking some learning. Maybe it’s just me. Anyway, it’s a terrific DVD, so thank you.
The Gibson you use on the DVD has a superb sound. Would you tell me what model it is, please?

I especially appreciate how you explain clearly what you are doing, and talk about why you are playing a riff a certain way. I am primarily a bass player but have enjoyed playing acoustic 6- and 12-string for many years. I particularly enjoyed your “Black Dog Blues” video, and appreciated the detail on the bass part.
